Detailed Report of Sindh Livestock Expo 2021 by Livestock Department Sindh. Sindh Livestock and Fisheries Department, Government of Sindh, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, Food, Forests, Wildlife, Sports and Youth Affairs and Commissioner Hyderabad, organized a historic Sindh Livestock Expo 2021 in Hyderabad. Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari attended the opening ceremony of the expo. The expo continued from March 13-15 (three days) at Hattri Bypass Hyderabad. Before the expo, the soft launching ceremony of the expo was held at a local hotel in Karachi.

Address by Chief Minister Sindh and Provincial Ministers
The special guest of the opening ceremony of the expo was Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah. On this occasion, he said that there is immense potential in the livestock and dairy sector of our country, which we have not been able to utilize in the true sense so far. The Sindh government is trying to get economic benefits from it by promoting livestock.
Speaking on the occasion, Provincial Minister for Livestock and Fisheries Abdul Bari Pitafi said that this is a unique effort to organize a Livestock Expo in the history of Sindh. He said that our effort is to give livestock the status of an industry and to raise the awareness of livestock farmers.
Addressing the ceremony held on the second day of the Expo, Provincial Minister for Information Sindh Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that livestock and fisheries are a big part of our economy. He welcomed the participation of the Punjab Livestock delegation in the Sindh Expo.
Technical seminars at Sindh Livestock Expo
Various technical seminars were also organized in the Expo. Experts including Vice Chancellor Sindh Agriculture University Tando Jam Dr. Fateh Marri, DG Livestock Sindh Dr. Nazir Hussain Kalhoro, and other senior officials participated in these seminars. Detailed lectures were given on public-private partnership, increasing livestock productivity and use of modern technology.
Animal Exhibition and Stalls at Sindh Livestock Expo
A special animal exhibition was organized at the expo, which included cows, buffaloes, sheep, goats, horses and camels of different and rare breeds from all over the country. In addition, an exhibition of pets, beautiful birds and a dog show were also the center of attention of the audience. Various pharmaceutical companies, livestock feed mills, and research institutions set up their stalls where guidance was provided to farmers and ranchers.
Closing ceremony and awards
On the closing day of the expo, shields and awards were distributed among the livestock keepers, breeders, and representatives of various companies who showed outstanding performance. At the end of the ceremony, it was expressed that such wonderful events will continue to be organized in the future for the development of the livestock sector and the improvement of the economy.
