Appointment of Deputy Registrar of PVMC and Controversy; Alleged use of the name of Deputy Chairman NAB

PVMC administration looking after the Day-to-day meters is facing a very difficult situation. The recent appointment of the Deputy Registrar of PVMC allegedly against the rules and regulations is becoming a disaster for the current administration. Various questions have been raised by a member of PVMC regarding the appointment of Deputy Registrar of PVMC. On the other hand, the issue of Deputy Chairman NAB has also been linked with it.

The member council says in the letter that the work of the present administration is to look after the day-to-day affairs but how can it appoint the grade 18 officer? How was the appointment made in the absence of the selection committee and recruitment committee? Why is the promotion post advertised as a regular post? Who notified this appointment and why this notification was not given to the members?

On the other hand, the alleged organized fraud is also being linked to this deployment. Calls were allegedly made from the official number and mobile number posing as Deputy Chairman NAB and pressure was put on PVMC-related persons to resolve matters with the present administration.

In the phone call, it was allegedly said that I am Deputy Chairman NAB. I have received instructions from the Prime Minister’s Office. Get your affairs in order with PVMC Administration or else be prepared for dire consequences. According to the FIR, the police swung into action and recovered a vehicle with an alleged fake official number plate as well as a ministerial flag. Also, there was a blue light on the vehicle. According to police FER, weapons were also recovered. The arrested person is allegedly the brother of the controversial Deputy Registrar of PVMC.

According to reliable sources, the impounded vehicle was allegedly used by the deputy registrar and also used to go to the PVMC secretariat. Allegedly driving such a vehicle around in Islamabad, displaying flags and blue lights on the vehicle, using the official phone number in this manner, and using high-ranking officials’ names; prima facie, indicates the existence of an organized group. On the other hand, the alleged arrival of such a vehicle at the PVMC Secretariat and the current administration’s non-reaction to it also raises suspicions.

Opinion of PVMC Administration

In this regard, the President Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council Dr. Muhammad Akram says that the appointment has been made according to the rules and regulations. We are being implicated in illegal cases. Such measures should not stop us from working. He further said that the said matter is not related to the Deputy Registrar of PVMC but to his brother.
