Prof Dr. Anees Sarwar Qureshi has been appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Agriculture Faisalabad. He assumed charge of his post in December 2022. Prof Anas Sarwar Qureshi obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 1987 while completing his PhD in 1995 from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. Later, he also did his post-doctorate from the USA.

Professor Dr. Anees Sarwar Qureshi has rendered distinguished services in the field of teaching and research at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. The main focus of his research was reproductive diseases in animals, brain arteriovenous malformations and other veterinary topics.
He has published several research papers in national and international journals. His research work has received international recognition and more than 35 of his scientific articles have been published in various journals.

Professor Dr. Anees Sarwar Qureshi also held various administrative responsibilities. He was associated with various institutions including Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF), Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC), Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) and National Testing Service (NTS).

He worked on joint research projects with institutions in China, Egypt, UK and other countries. His efforts promoted cooperation between the Faculty of Veterinary Science and various national and international institutions.
