Corona virus in chicken, baseless news; PPA says – Pakistan Poultry Association

Pakistan Poultry Association has strongly denied the news of the presence of novel coronavirus in chicken. Chaudhry Fargham, Vice Chairman of Northern Region of Pakistan Poultry Association (PPA), has said in a statement to the media that the news of the presence of coronavirus in chicken is baseless, false and scientifically incorrect. In this regard, the Ministry of National Food Security and Research and the Poultry Research Institute of Punjab have also denied it. He added that consumers should not pay attention to such baseless propaganda and continue to consume chicken.
