Cloud Agri Pakistan Partnership with Denkavit and NASNA International

Cloud Agri Pakistan has partnered with Dutch company Denkavit and Australian company NASNA International. Both foreign companies will provide their products and services in Pakistan through Cloud Agri Pakistan. Denkavit works on calf nutrition and calf milk replacer manufacturers. On the other hand, NASNA International is an Australian livestock exporter.

Ambassador at Cloud Agri Pakistan Ceremony

In this regard, the ceremony was held in Lahore. Ambassador of the Netherlands Henny Fokel de Vries specially participated in the event. Vice Chancellor Cholistan Veterinary University Bahawalpur Professor Dr. Mazhar Ayaz, former Vice Chancellor Veterinary University Lahore Professor Dr. Talat Nasir Pasha, Director General Research Livestock Department Punjab Dr. Sajjad Hussain and others also participated in the event.

Speaking at the event, the Ambassador of the Netherlands, Henny Fokel de Vries, said that Pakistan and the Netherlands have a long-standing friendly relationship which they want to increase. Currently, more than 50 Dutch companies are working in Pakistan in various sectors including agriculture and dairy sector. She said that there are excellent opportunities for foreign companies to invest in Pakistan. Moreover, she expressed hope that this partnership will yield positive results.

Prof Talat Naseer Pasha

Former Vice-Chancellor University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore Professor Dr. Pasha said that the collaboration of three business institutions will also benefit the livestock and dairy farmers of Pakistan. He said that the business of these companies in Pakistan will also strengthen the trade relations between the three countries.

Denkavit and NASNA International with Cloud Agri Pakistan

On this occasion, Dr. Rana Shaukat Hussain, Chief Executive Officer of Cloud Agri Pakistan and Global Business Director of Cloud Agri Group, said that Denkavit provides calf milk replacer for calves. This is among the leading calf milk replacer manufacturers. NASNA International, on the other hand, is an Australian livestock exporter. In collaboration with this company, we will import animals for dairy and beef from Australia. He further said that the provision of Calf Milk Replacer by Denka Vet will provide quality feed for calf maintenance. Further, by collaborating with these companies, products as well as information will be exchanged.

He said that farmers of Pakistan, as well as local experts, will be able to benefit from the information and guidance provided by the experts of these companies. He said that Nasna Livestock is the leading Australian livestock exporter. On the other hand, Denkavit is a global leader in calf nutrition with over 90 years of experience in the calf nutrition industry.

DG Livestock Dr. Sajjad Hussain

Director General Research, Livestock Department, Punjab, Dr. Sajjad Hussain, said that historically, small-scale producers in the livestock sector in Pakistan have been the majority. On the other hand, modern methods of livestock farming are also prevailing throughout the country. However, with modern technology and increased awareness, the industry is transforming. He said that the Livestock Department is taking steps to control foot and mouth disease. Furthermore, the Government has established Disease Control Compartments in this regard.

Vice Chancellor CUVAS

Vice Chancellor, Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Bahawalpur Professor Dr. Muhammad Mazhar Ayaz said that such events provide a platform for key stakeholders. These stakeholders include industry experts, academicians, livestock department, agricultural professionals, and dairy and beef farmers across. All stakeholders need to share their experiences. Furthermore, they should create a collective plan for a dynamic and sustainable future to meet the food shortage for the growing population. Moreover, he said that Cholistan Veterinary University will always welcome to join hands with the private sector.
