UVAS has opened BS Dairy Technology Admissions. This is a four year program which the Department of Dairy Technology offers  at Ravi Campus Pattoki. The scope of Dairy Technology is in the Dairy Processing Industry. Besides this, degree has also importance in Dairy Quality Assurance Sector. There is also scope in Research and Development. In addition to Pakistan, Dairy Technology Scope also exists abroad.

Dr. Saima Inayat says, this degree is very important in this era. It has job opportunities in Pakistan as well as in other countries. Moreover, the department has developed effective curricula which is according to modern industrial requirements. In addition to this, department has excellent lab infrastructure.

Dr. Muhammad Junaid says the department has highly qualified faculty. We focus especially on the practical aspects of dairy processing. This degree has scope overall in food processing industry.
