Secretary Livestock presided over a meeting on Animal Identification App and Animal Traceability System. PITB briefed on the Pakistan Animal Identification and Traceability System PAIT App. Secretary Livestock highlighted the importance of this system. This system would be helpful to trace the livestock products’ quality. Furthermore, this would also help develop a new Disease Control Compartment. Moreover, he said the Punjab Food Authority should also use this system. Besides this, Secretary Livestock emphasized the improvement of slaughterhouses.
