Ms. Eleanor Dean paid a visit to UVAS. She is General Manger Outreach and Capacity Building of ACIAR. ACIAR is Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research. She discussed ACIAR Projects in addition to Extension Research.

She called on Vice-Chancellor UVAS Prof Dr. Nasim Ahmad. Besides other members, Dr. Hassan Mahmood Warrhaich was also present.

Ms. Eleanor praised UVAS leading role in livestock extension for farming community. These services focused on research based extension in addition capacity building support. Furthermore, she mentioned to continue partnership with UVAS.

Dr. Hassan Mahmood Warhhaich briefed about the livestock advisory service system. Furthermore, he also highlighted whole family extension approach. He discussed the Agriculture Sector Linkages program. He also shared the outcomes of Dairy-Beef Project.
