Meeting about Pakistan’s Meat Exports to Tajikistan held at Embassy of Tajikistan in Islamabad
The meeting about Pakistan’s meat exports to Tajikistan was held at the Embassy of Tajikistan. This initiative has reached an important milestone. Officials agreed to export 50 tonnes of meat to Tajikistan in the first phase. It will improve meat processing in Pakistan and the meat export industry.
However, Muhammad Asif Khan Awan, President of the Livestock Farmers Welfare Association KPK, attended the meeting about Pakistan’s meat exports to Tajikistan. Moreover, Hayatullah, Chief Executive of Zain Dairy, Haji Nazar of Meat Zone, Ruqia, General Secretary of the Livestock Cooperative Society, and other stakeholders also participated.
Halal Meat Export Potential of Pakistan and its Role in Economic Independence
The participants discussed ways to strengthen bilateral trade and expand cooperation in the livestock and meat sectors. They emphasized the importance of modern technology, quality production, value addition, and compliance with international standards. As a result, they expressed confidence that Pakistan’s meat exports to Tajikistan will enhance the country’s position in regional and international meat markets.
The participants described the initiative as a major opportunity for Pakistan’s livestock sector. They noted that the project will create new business opportunities for livestock farmers, meat processors, and exporters. Moreover, it will help increase foreign exchange earnings and support the growth of the national economy.
Furthermore, speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Asif Khan Awan said the livestock sector plays a vital role in Pakistan’s economy. He added that expanding Pakistan’s meat exports will strengthen the meat processing industry, improve market access, and encourage future trade between the two countries. Furthermore, the participants agreed to continue working together to increase meat exports in the coming years.
