The Punjab Livestock and Dairy Development Department has announced major promotions in Livestock Punjab. However, livestock Punjab dept has promoted 35 Senior Veterinary Officers (BS-18) to BS-19 positions including female officers promotions. Moreover, the Provincial Selection Board-I (PSB-I) recommended these promotions, and the competent authority subsequently approved them. As a result, the department has promoted officers to the posts of Additional Principal Veterinary Officers (BS-19), Additional Director Livestock, Deputy Director, and other equivalent positions across Punjab.

Female Senior Veterinary Officers Promoted to BPS-19 in Punjab Livestock Department

Importantly, the promotion list includes 10 female veterinary officers, reflecting the growing role of women in veterinary leadership and livestock administration. The promoted female officers include Dr. Faiza Aslam, Dr. Sumreen Kausar, Dr. Sadia Ali, Dr. Wajeeha, Dr. Nayla Maqsood, Dr. Zahida Nuzhat, Dr. Shumaila Firdous, Dr. Ashi A. Morris, Dr. Asma Hussain, and Dr. Musarrat Afaq. Consequently, more women will now serve in senior management and technical positions within the department.

Meanwhile,  other officers promoted to BS-19 include Dr. Abdul Sattar Tahir, Dr. Nadeem Bhatti, Dr. Tariq Javed, Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Dr. Muhammad Waseem Kanwar, Dr. Tahir Khan, Dr. Rizwan Bashir, Dr. Muhammad Adeel, Dr. Muhammad Ifrahim, Dr. Abrar Ahmad, Dr. Muhammad Zubair, Dr. Maqsood Alam, Dr. Liaquat Ali Khan, Dr. Faizan Murtaza, Dr. Shahid Akram, Dr. Muhammad Sarfraz Iqbal, Dr. Muhammad Ahsan, Dr. Muhammad Zubair, Dr. Ghulam Murtaza, Dr. Zia-ul-Hassan, Dr. Behzad Ahmad, Dr. Javaid Ahmad, Dr. Muhammad Azam, and Dr. Muhammad Ismail.
