Chinese Disease Surveillance Program Collaborators team from China Agriculture University visited UVAS. Different Animal Disease Surveillance aspects were discussed. Samples were collected from Sheikhupura for Livestock Disease Surveillance. More than 350 serum and whole blood samples from buffalo of different age groups were tested for buffalo disease surveillance. Bluetongue, brucellosis, Foot and mouth, mycobacterial disease, bovine tuberculosis, bovine paratuberculosis, Bovine viral diarrhea, bovine vesicular stomatitis, Q fever, bovine leukemia etc. and other diseases were focused.
