When Prof Dr Muhammad Sarwar took over as the Vice Chancellor of Dera Ismail Khan University, the institution was going through the worst crisis in its history. Financial, administrative and academic matters were on the verge of collapse.
At that time, various types of mafias, political interference, blackmailing, nepotism, and violation of merit were common in the university. After taking charge, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sarwar faced all these challenges head on and took tough and emergency decisions to cleanse the university of these mafias.
